Hidefinder is privatly owned by a Canadian. Started as a hobby project in September, 2008 and mainly remains so now. Since then Hidefinder has changed. Back then the owner did not know much about programming.

This website has gone under 3 major changes since Sept, 2008. The first version was released using the Codeignitor PHP Framework, the second version was released 17th september, 2009. (very recently) using Smarty only has 1 page showing the proxies. This version your seeing now was released, November 3rd 2009 and was rebuild from scratch (over again) in smarty over the course of 11 days. (From oct 23rd).

Hidefinder is written in the PHP programming language, and uses Mysql for a database. Hidefinder also makes use of some open-source frameworks and modules that help speed up the delivery of new features.
Such as Smarty, for templating, Securimage to stop nasty bots, Ckeditor for backend work to create articles, Geshi for snytax highlighting in articles, Asido for image upload. this website's template was designed by alexandru.es.
